Our mould inspection process includes every element of the home. We specialize in older homes, cottages and unique structures. By the time we complete a mould inspection, we understand every possible water source and invariably can tell a buyer or current homeowner whether significant mould is present, why it has formed, whether it continues to flourish, and how to address the mould problem in the most inexpensive method.

Most mould formation is due to simple plumbing leaks and water infiltration points at the building envelope. Despite what others may tell you, most mould fighting solutions are not expensive.

Because we are not involved in cleanup procedures or any form of contracting we receive no referral fees and we are completely unbiased. That means we focus on the cheapest solutions to mould problems first for our clients. Why would anyone believe a service provider who will make more money when they do more work?

To fully understand the cause of a possible mould problem we usually need at least two hours on site. Our fees are reflective of the amount of time required to figure out a problem. Our minimum fee for a mould investigation is $250.00 + GST. The most common fee is $350.00 + GST.

The fact is, most mould problems are not difficult or expensive to eliminate. If a major mould problem exists, we may refer the project to an Environmental Consultant, who is also unbiased. But that is normally not required.
